About Ana Tosta
NICE TO MEET YOU!
"Open your Heart with Di Tosta Designs"
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, handcrafted Jewelry Designer Ana Tosta, graduated in 1988 from Catholic University Andres Bello with a degree in Mass Communication-Journalism and worked as a TV Producer at Channel 2 RCTV, one of the most important Television network in Venezuela.
In 1999 she came to the United States and met her husband, Master Shifu Orlando Schiaffino, founder of Sadana Center and learned from him about the healing power of gemstones and crystals. Shifu Orlando has been her Mentor since.
It was not until 2006 when Ana started creating pieces for herself at first, then doing pieces by request by her friends, and now she is selling her handcrafted jewelry in her Etsy Shop.
Ana Tosta has been creating jewelry since then. Her jewelry designs of semi-precious stones are inspired by the natural beauty of the stones and their magical healing and mystical power.
For Ana, each piece represents a treasure. She feels that a piece of jewelry holds memories and becomes part of our life stories.
Di Tosta Designs jewelry is infused with positive energy. Once Ana has finished her creation, her pieces are energized with Reiki (ancient healing symbols) and mantras by her husband Reiki Master Shifu Orlando Schiaffino to restore the wearer body and open obstacles.
Ana creates unusual pieces that you cannot find in department stores. Her pieces mark the difference, are notables for the use of semi-precious stones, imported crystals, and precious metals.
Her customers come back time and again, knowing Ana will have fresh new designs each season. Most of her jewelry is either one-of-a-kind pieces or limited editions.
Ana divides her time between making jewelry, being Sadana Center's Manager, and taking care of her son Salvatore, who even helps her naming the jewelry pieces.
Ana said: "Many people wonder if crystals have healing powers. I am not an expert on crystals, but as a journalist, I did research different cultures in the history of humanity such as Egyptian, Tibetan, Indian... and all of these cultures used crystals as healing medicine.
For my own experience, I believe in the curative effects of healing stones. It takes effort to open your heart and mind to the power of crystal healing, but once you begin, the crystal journey has beautiful, mysterious, and unique crystals for you!"
After a few years of art making and gift giving, Ana realized she was, in fact, also a jewelry designer and that her passion and hobby had turned into another profession; thus Di Tosta Designs was founded.
